Past. Present. Future. Not Sure Whats Was On Her Mind.

In Frame:  A still moment captured ! The girl (who happens to be a friend of mine) in frame is stoic and immersed in deep thoughts. I am not sure what she was thinking while posing for this shot. I just asked her to pose side way for me and she did. Out of many shots which I clicked on 26/Dec/2013, this one caught my attention. Location Bangalore, Karnataka, INDIA.

Completing The Picture

Every (fair) coin has two sides to it. Opposite and never reconciling. But these two extremes make a coin. They complete the picture. They bring value to the coin. Same is true for life. It has got moments dropping us into well of sadness and it has moments taking us flying  high in skies. Occurrence of one set of moments enables us to recognize the importance of other and completes the  journey called - LIFE ! About Frame: Shot at Mandoor, Bangalore  on 19/Oct/2013 at a help center of Vidyaranya. Immersed in worries and sad mood is the first woman. Full of laughter and enjoying the event defines the second one. They differs in all respects but they together completes this picture. Interestingly during this event, the team of Vidyaranya thought I was a professional photographer !!!

Changing Tastes !

Richest Is The Man Whose Pleasures Are Cheapest  Off late it seems that my interests are behaving like a river changing its course and thus becoming unpredictable.  Maintaining a diary to note down quotes, cutting cartoons from newspaper and pasting them in a book, writing on important social and economic happenings to now clicking anything which beholds my attention, seems I am graduating with each passing day.  A picture is an amazing thing. It enables you to travel to past time. If not fabricated, it is an unbiased account of what has happened and require you to reconstruct the sequence and think in all directions. Pictures like monuments and paintings is one of the right and correct way to look into history. Not only this, clicking is a greater teacher in itself. It make you learn to wait for the right moment to strike (read click). It makes you realize you that for getting a perfect shot you may have to click many times emphasizing on being persiste...

It has got a cosmopolitan outlook. Observing and clicking what is there on walls of Bangalore is a different experience. While clicking what is there on a wall, I had a tough time to understand why this was put on it and why not that something else! Invite you to be part of riots of colors and thoughts which covers the walls of Bangalore.I wish those who put content on walls of city remembers following words of Marilyn Manson - ...

Sunday Market @ Pondy

Payment Book Stall In Front Of Jambu Book Shop Weekly markets have always been a confluence of people from different walks of life. Riots of colors mashed up with economical offerings, a wide variety and huge bargaining opportunities are just few attractions. But a person like me has other reasons to be there - to observe 'people-mix' of the city and to feel the city 'raw' and without any 'cosmetic effects'. Such weekly markets are the best gateways to know the city you are in.  I had lived in Pondicherry for more than two years and has loved the quality of life it offers - peaceful, away from the mad rush and pollution of big metros  like Delhi & Mumbai. Like most Indian cities Pondicherry too host a weekly market- Sunday Market.  It stretches long on MG Road and Jawaharlal Nehru Road and the point where these two roads cross other is the central point of this market. I had always made a point to be there and t...

Change Agents In Our Society

Did you share yourself today ? Times Life : 2 May, 2010-05-18 In this artcle Indrani Rajkhowa Banerjee brings into life a very inspiring account of ordinary people who are amazingly trying to create a difference in lives of those to whom small things we never care of can bring a lot of difference. Consider few instance, taken from the said article and other sources: Someone in Mumbai distributes footwear at traffic signals to barefoot people, another man collects the leftover food at weddings to feed hungry kids, in Delhi a gentleman distributes drinking water in shanties of west Delhi, another person never leaves home without packets of glucose biscuits for poor kids, a young journalist instead of visiting church every sunday religiously visits nearby home for aged people and spends her time with them………… A guy collects rickety and torn out bicycles and repairs them and gives them to school kids who otherwise would have dropped as parents are reluctant to send kids far away to schoo...
