You Don't Need To Be Rich

You don't be rich to have simple pleasures of life. This man is exactly having same dictum in practise. His carefree gesture, gazing at passing by beauties, wearing 'funky' blue colored poly bag and sitting on unusual 'seat' puts hims class apart from others who spent good money but still remain aloof from quiet enriching moments of life.

He also reminds of Vishnu. Second god in the Trinity. Like Vishnu he is sitting on coiling serpent with blue sea soaring and his posture is totally 'free' from any effort.

Who knows who he is !!!

Walking With Shadow

In Frame : A Marwari shopkeeper on way his home to home for lunch.  About The Picture: I have seen this man in the picture very often in same dress walking down the road. He runs a vegetable shop. The other person on his shop is probably his son, I believe. His neat and white dress has often made me to think to click him. And on 15/May/2014 while waiting for cab to go to office I saw him coming and I just switched on the camera of my HTC One X. I was able to click him thrice and the above shot I liked most.

God's Gate Keeper

In Frame : Rani. Do we need to say who she is ? Rani is the elephant at Manarkul Vinayagar Temple at Pondicherry (Pondy) whom one can see the entrance of the temple. She has been trained to shower blessings on devotees who offer her money and eatables especially banana. On festivals she is beautifully decorated with colorful usually red and golden yellow robes and cloth sheets and carries the idols of Lord Ganesha along with the religious processions which passes through prominent streets of Pondy notable among them is JN Sreat and MG Road. Clicked in Aug 2008 at Manarkul Temple, Pondy during my first visit to the temple.

Wait

In Frame: An old woman, at her balcony watching the people on road. About The Picture:   Old age is like Pandora's box. It spring many challenges for an individual - health and feeling of loneliness especially. This lady seems to be killing evening time by watching people and vehicles moving on the busy road and this is something I had observed many times. Clicked on 22/May/2014 at Hulimau, Bangalore, INDIA
